ABOUT US
A Few Words About Us
Two Centres.
62 more to go.
FUN Football Academy didn’t start as a business plan — it started as a bet that consistent, well-run coaching at the grassroots is what Indian football is missing.

FFA's Roots
WHY WE STARTED
The idea took root after the 2022 World Cup. Watching the rest of the football world compete at that level, the same question kept coming back: why isn’t India doing something about this? For years, nothing changed. On 20th July 2026, that question turned into a decision — India needed to show up on the world stage in football, especially now, with the national team sitting at an all-time low in the FIFA World Rankings.
Every football nation with real depth has the same base underneath it: hundreds of local academies, running every week, coaching kids who’ll never make headlines but who make the sport bigger.
India doesn’t lack talent. It lacks enough places for that talent to train consistently. That’s the gap FFA (FUN Football Academy) was built to close.
Our first centre opened in Thane with four programs built around one simple question: how often can this child realistically train, and what does the best version of that program look like?
What we do
FUN FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Coaching that takes the game seriously without making kids feel like the fun got left out. Structured sessions, real progression, and a jersey that makes it feel official from day one.
The answer became:
- The Starter — for the child just beginning
- The Regular — for steady, consistent development
- The Pro-Player — for the kid who’s serious about the game
- Road to Nationals — for the player chasing the top
Thane is centre one. It’s proof that the model works — before it scales to the rest of India.
How we coach
THE ROAD TO 2034
Three milestones, in order. Each one only matters if the one before it actually works.
Step 1 : Now
Mumbai & Thane
One centre, four programs, real coaching every week.
Step 2 : This Year
Eight Academies
Scale the model to eight centres — each one run well enough to stand on its own.
Step 3 : By 2034
Sixty-four Cities - One Goal
A network of academies across 64 Indian cities, contributing to a national push
to move India into the FIFA top 64. India was ranked 139th as of July 2026.
How we coach
What every FFA session is built on.
01
Consistency over intensity
Showing up every week, at the right frequency for the child, beats occasional instense sessions
02
Coaching, not supervision
Sessions are built around technique, ball-control and match-craft, not simply keeping kids busy for an hour.
03
A path for every commitment
A once-a-week player and a future trialist both belong here — on different programs according to their schedule
04
Look like a team, from Day 1
Every registration includes a jersey and shorts — small detail, real effect on how a kid shows up.
